And they say, "Not it (is) but our life (of) the world, we die and we live, and not destroys us except the time." And not for them of that any knowledge; not, they (do) but guess.
And yet they say: “There is nothing beyond our life in this world. We die as we come to life, and nothing but time destroys us.” But of this they have no knowledge whatever: they do nothing but guess
And they say: There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time; when they have no knowledge whatsoever of (all) that; they do but guess
And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture
And they argue, “There is nothing beyond our worldly life. We die; others are born. And nothing destroys us but ˹the passage of˺ time.” Yet they have no knowledge ˹in support˺ of this ˹claim˺. They only speculate.
They say, "There is nothing but our life in this world; we die, we live, and nothing but time destroys us." But they have no knowledge of this; they are only guessing.
They say, There is nothing but our life in this world: we die, we live, nothing but time destroys us. They have no knowledge of this; they only follow conjecture
And they say: There is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time, and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture
And they said: There is nothing, but this present life of ours. We die and we live and nothing causes us to perish but a long course of time. And there is for them not any knowledge. Truly, they are but surmising.
They say: "Nothing exists except our worldly life! We die and live, and only fate destroys us?" They have no knowledge about that; they are only supposing.
And they (disbelievers) say: “There is nothing but our life of this world. We die and we live, nothing but time destroys us.” They have no knowledge of it, verily they are only guessing.
They say, “There is naught but our life in this world. We die and we live, and none destroys us save time.” But they have no knowledge thereof. They do naught but conjecture
And people said, “This (state of our existence is) nothing except the life-span in this world. We die or we live. And nothing kills us except ad-Dahr (the passing time).” And (there is) not for them, regarding this, (any thing) of the knowledge. They (are) not (saying sense) except (that) they conjecture
The disbelievers say: "There is nothing but our life of this world. We live and die; nothing but time destroys us." In fact, they have no knowledge concerning this. They are merely guessing
And they say, 'There is nothing but this our present life; we die and we live, and nothing destroys us except time.' But they have no knowledge of that; they are only guessing
And they have said, "In no way is there anything except our present life; (Literally: lowly life, i.e., the life of this world) we die and we live, and in no way is there anything that causes us to perish except Time." And in no way do they have any knowledge about that; decidedly they do nothing except surmise
They have said, "The only life is this worldly life and here we shall live and die. It is only time which will destroy us" They have no knowledge about this. It is only their guesswork
And they say, .There is no life but our worldly life. We die and live, and nothing destroys us except time. They have no knowledge about that; they do nothing but make conjectures
And yet they say, "There is nothing beyond our life of this world. We die as we come to life (per chance) and nothing destroys us but Time." But of that they have no knowledge. They do nothing but make a wild guess
They say, "There is nothing except our life in this world; here is where we die, or survive. There is nothing but fate, (just the vicissitudes of life) that destroys us." They do not have any (real) knowledge about that! They merely speculate
And they say: "What is there other than our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing except time can destroy us." And they have no knowledge of that: They only presume (and imagine)
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming
And they said: "There is nothing but this worldly life; we die and we live and nothing destroys us except the passing of time!" And they have no knowledge about this; they only conjecture
They say, ‘There is only our life in this world: we die, we live, nothing but time destroys us.’ They have no knowledge of this; they only follow guesswork. Their only argument
And they say: there is no naught but our life of the world; die and we live; and naught destroyeth us save Time. And they have no knowledge thereof: they do but guess
Yet they say: "There is nothing but the life of this world. We die and we live, and only time annihilates us." Yet they have no knowledge of this: They only speculate
They say, ´There is nothing but our existence in this world. We die and we live and nothing destroys us except for time.´ They have no knowledge of that. They are only conjecturing.
And they say: "There is nothing but only our life in this world. Some of us die while others continue to live; and nothing causes us to perish but Time (the processes of decline and decay)." But they have no (sure and true) knowledge about this (the real nature and meaning of life and death, and the life after it). They merely follow their conjectures
They say, ‘There is nothing but the life of this world: we live and we die, and nothing but time destroys us.’ But they do not have any knowledge of that, and they only make conjectures
And they say, "There is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time", and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture
And they say: There is nothing except our life of this world, we die and we live (and world goes on), and only time destroys us. And they have no knowledge of this, they only guess
And they say, “What is there other than our life in the present? We will die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us.” But of that, they do not know. They only theorize
They say, “There is no life except our worldly life, we die, we live and eventually, time will kill us.” They have no understanding of the reality, and they are merely guessing
They say: "There is no life other than our present worldly life: herein we live and we die, and it is only (the passage of) time that destroys us. Yet the fact is that they know nothing about this and are only conjecturing
And they said: "There is nothing except this worldly life; we die and we live and nothing destroys us except the passing of time!" And they have no knowledge about this; they only conjecture
And they say, "There is nothing other than our present worldly life. We die and we live here; and it is the passage of time that destroys us, nothing else." And they have no knowledge about this; they are indulging in nothing but conjecture
And they said, 'that is not hut this our wordily life. we die and we live and none destroys us but the time, and they have no knowledge of it they merely conjecture.
They said, "We only live this life; we live and die and only time causes our death!" They have no sure knowledge about this; they only conjecture.
They say: 'There is nothing except this life, we die and we live, it is only time that destroys us. ' Surely, of this they have no knowledge, they are just guessing
And they say: There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live and nothing destroys us but time, and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture
And they said: "It is not except our life the present/worldly life, we die and we live, and nothing makes us die/destroys us except the long time." And (there is) no knowledge with that for them, that truly they are except assuming/supposing
The disbelievers say: “We only live this life; as time goes, by we become old and die.” They have no knowledge about the subject and their saying is merely a guess
And they said, “There is nothing except our life of this world - we die and we live - and nothing destroys us except the passage of time”; and they do not have any knowledge of it; they only make guesses
And they say, `There is nothing for us but this our present life; we die and we live; and nothing but time destroys us.' But they have no real knowledge of it; they do nothing but conjecture
And they say: ‘There is nothing (else) except our worldly life. We die and live here (only). And nothing kills us except (circumstances and occurrences of) time (i.e., they deny Allah and the Hereafter absolutely). And they simply do not have any knowledge of this (reality). They follow only their speculation and assumption
They say, `We have only this our present life (to live). We (people of one generation) die and we (people of a new generation from among us) come to life again (here in this very world). It is (the passage of) time alone that deals us death. But they have no real knowledge whatsoever about the matter (- the Hereafter). They merely make conjectures
And they say: "There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us except Ad-Dahr (the time). And they have no knowledge of it, they only conjecture
They say, 'There is nothing but our present life; we die, and we live, and nothing but Time destroys us.' Of that they have no knowledge; they merely conjecture
They say, there is no other life, except our present life: We die, and we live; and nothing but time destroyeth us. But they have no knowledge in this matter; they only follow a vain opinion
They say, 'It is only our life in this world, we die and we live, and naught destroys us but time!' But they have no knowledge of this; they do but suspect
And they say, "There is only this our present life: we die and we live, and nought but time destroyeth us." But in this they have no knowledge: it is merely their own conceit
They say: ‘There is but one life in this world and no other. We die and live; nothing but Time destroys us.‘ Surely of this they have no knowledge. They are merely guessing
They say, “There is nothing but our life in this world. We will die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us.” Of that, they have no knowledge. They just make up things.
They say: "Nothing exists except our worldly life! We die and live, and only fate destroys us?" They have no knowledge about that; they are only supposing.
They said, “Life comprises only the world! Death, life; all of it is here! Only time destroys us!” They have no proof in regards to this! They are only assuming!
And they say, “There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us but time,” and they have no knowledge of that, they do nothing but guess.
And those who deny future life think aloud the thoughts passing through their minds: "There is only this present life " they say, " we die and as the grass upon the earth shall our posterity be ", then they shall also die and their posterity live, until time does away with life and reduces this world into a useless form and all time shall appear but short time, but indeed as no time". So they think, and with their ignorance of the facts, their action of evidence fails to convince their minds, and their supposition is formed on grounds admittedly insufficient
And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture
